Firefighters Without Borders Canada received a donation of $255 from the UBC Birdcoop Fitness Centre as a result of the Fire Fighter Challenge event held out at Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services Fire Hall #10 on Novemebr 7th 2009. Thanks to all those members who helped out and congratulations to all those who participated in this grueling physical challenge. Special recognition goes to Jeffrey Moore (Honourary Consul for El Salvador & Director, Firefighters Without Borders Canada) who pulled off an amazing 4 mintues, 54 seconds which easily exceeds the recruitment requirements of the VF&RS, perhaps Consul Moore is considering a second career?
